Course Objectives:
At the end of the course the active participant should be able to:
Greet and welcome Spanish speaking patients who come to the dental office or clinic.
Demonstrate the applicaiton of Spanish with an emphasis on simple conversations.
Perform an oral exam and talk about a patient's problem in Spanish.
Talk about oral hygiene and general dentistry in Spanish.
Speaker: Gene Flanery is adjunct professor of Spanish at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and author of Conversational Spanish for Dentistry. Gene has taught dental Spanish since 2004.
Teaching Method: Lecture, role play and personal application.
