Here are the easy steps for joining a live webinar:
1. Register and pay for the class on the this web site or send a check
for the appropriate amount to the Spanish Plus office.
2. You will be sent a link to the webinar a week before the class.
3. Follow the link to the host provider and sign up for the class.
3. A day before the webinar you will be sent a reminder about the
seminar.
4. Follow the web link to the site and participate in the on-line class.
5. You will receive your CE credits through e-mail.

Spanish Plus is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing dental education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from 12/1/2008 to11/30/2011.
At the end of the course the active participant should be able to:
1. Properly greet the Latino patient
2. Introduce oneself in Spanish to the patient
3. Identify terms used to describe and locate pain.
4. Utilize 6 helping verbs to enhance communication skills
in Spanish
5. Learn Spanish terms for oral hygiene and cleaning
of teeth.
6. Recognize Spanish terms for taking an X-ray of the
patient’s mouth.
7. Talk to the patient about their condition and procedures
needed in Spanish.
8. Give post-procedure instructions in Spanish to the
patient.
9. Apply the 6 Keys to Language Acquisition in their
continuing language learning process.
10. Become highly motivated to learn the Spanish language.
